denominations as Companions. It is this Partnership that shares the vision of God for All – that . . .
everyone who lives in, or visits the County should have the opportunity to know more of the love of God and His purpose for their lives. This Covenanted Partnership is not just for the church leaders. It is something of
which all our churches, and therefore all of us, are part.
The Rev’d. Hannah Wallace
After discussions over recent weeks the Bishop of Carlisle has licensed the Rev’d. Hannah Wallace as Associate Priest to the Benefices of Arnside with Storth and Beetham in the Kent Estuary Mission Community to the end of September 2027. During the months ahead part of Hannah’s focus will be to assist and support the ongoing conversations taking place in the Mission Community regarding the endorsed ‘Direction of Travel’ as we journey onwards together at this time of anticipated transition. Please continue to hold Hannah, alongside Greg, Sam, and Bethan in your prayers as they look to the time ahead.

There is now a Prayer Group praying for the Working Group and the wider congregations, as we all seek to discern a way forward that might best support our congregational life and enable the worship, witness and intentional mission of the churches in the Kent Estuary in the coming years.
